Business Overview
It is set in a small French restaurant during the Christmas season. "My French" is an entertainment show for adults that tells short stories about the lives of the people who visit and elegantly arranges the scenes with live jazz music like movie music. Takahashi, the popular character in the play (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; closed in 2015), which ran for 26 years from 1989 at the Aoyama Amphitheater, became the owner. In 2018, the venue was moved to a restaurant where audiences can also enjoy meals, and it continues to be popular. Streaming began in 2020, and in 2022, 6 of the 8 performances were a hybrid of attracting audiences and streaming (with archived streaming), and were viewed nationwide. Junko Takaizumi, Kohiro Yamamoto, Yuichiro Nakayama, Shota Shunputei, Kikunojo ONOE, the fourth head of the Onoe-ryu school, Diamond Yukai, Les Romanesques TOBI, Eisuke Shinoi, and ROLLY will appear as guests on a daily basis. The musicians are Toshihiro Nakanishi on violin, Shunji Takenaka on guitar, Yoshiaki Sato on accordion, and Brent Nussey on wood bass. Composition, libretto, direction and leading role by Takaizumi Junko, musical supervision by Nakanishi Toshihiro.

Yu Kikai Office Co., Ltd. is a theater and music planning and production office presided over by Junko Takaizumi. Junko TAKAIZUMI belonged to 'Waseda Engeki Kenkyukai' (Waseda Theatre Study Group) while she was a student at Waseda University, and formed a theatrical company, 'Yu ◉ Machine/Full Automatic Theatre' in 1983 with Akira SHIRAI, Koichi YOSHIZAWA and others. He played the lead role in the stage and wrote the script, and has attracted attention as a player who plays characters from boys to old people in a flexible manner. After the company broke up in 2003, London director Simon. McBurney His production of Elephant Vanishes, a short story by Simon McBurney and Haruki Murakami, has been highly acclaimed in London, Paris and New York. He commissioned stage art from illustrator Uno Akira to work on a trilogy of Fables for Adults, which deal with the themes of time, memory, and family.
