Luxury poverty "I'm trying to understand, but" Writer and director: Yuri Yamada Cast: Minami Ohba, Masayuki Yamamoto, Mayu Sakuma, Konomi Otake, Misaki Yatabe As a young artist from Tokyo, she performed her first European performance as an official program of the historic international performing arts festival, Festival d'Autonne. Are men and women so different as organisms that they can understand each other? By raising questions about gender roles, the film shakes the stereotypes of the audience and uses theatrical techniques to highlight what gender gives and takes away in modern society.

[Luxury poverty]
Launched in 2012. Presided by Yuri Yamada. Seamlessly moving back and forth between the stage and the audience, between reality and another world, between normalcy and madness, his style is characterized by a pop and mellow expression of the problems facing contemporary Japanese society. Since 2014, he has been working on the "House Project," which involves creating and performing works in houses and apartments rented on a long-term basis. He was nominated for the Kishida Kunio Drama Award for Fiction City (2017) and Mixture (2019). The Chinese version of "Minna Yoruga Kowai" first performed in 2015 went on a nationwide tour, and his activities are expanding both at home and abroad.
