Business Overview
A project to start a museum from scratch in a natural environment with no buildings or institutional framework. It explores the possibilities of a new museum as an art infrastructure, reflecting on the assumptions of modern art museums, such as separating artifacts from natural objects, separating artists from audiences, and separating natural environments from exhibition spaces. [Outline of the first-year project] (1) Reading session 4: Hitoteiel "Dare to (Or can an art worker think) the game" Content: The participants gathered in an online VR space, read the text "Dare to (Or can an art worker think) the game" from Hitoteiel's Duty-Free Art: Art Without Imposition, and had discussions. Date and time: 2021.10.31 (Sun) 19:00~22:00 Venue: VR space on the web (Spatial) (2) Conference 1: Museum without a museum In Akikawa Valley, "Museum without a museum" was conceived for one day. Each participant made a plan through brainstorming. Date: Sunday, February 20, 2022 19:00~22:00 Venue: Web Space (Jitsi Meet) (4) Conference 2: Concrete, Distributed and Abstract ・・・ Platform @Web A workshop to write collectively on platforms such as Wikipedia. Ideas and plans for the new platform were developed by each participant. It consists of two exhibitions, "Collage Camouflage" and "Dis/Cover". Related events included artist talks and discussions, tours and conferences [see (7) and (8)]. Date: Saturday, June 22, 2024 19:00 ~ 21:30 Venue: Online (Zoom) Appearance: Roger McDonald, General Museum (2) Conference 7: Museum Outside _ Discovering the World Outside of Daiba The invited guests aimed to discover new places outside through brainstorming. We gathered in the bay area, which is called the frontier of Tokyo, and took a critical view of the place, and explored new perspectives and ways of using the place from multiple brain-environment interactions. Online distribution using the Internet was carried out in order to search for a relationship in which producers work closely together, and at the same time to bring about a wide and discrete scope.
