Titled "The 8th Yamamoto Amikoto 25 stringed Soh Recital," this program consists of 5 works. It was a performance that presented the beauty of Soh with carefully selected sounds composed of 13 strings and 25 stringed Soh with mysterious expanse composed of 25 strings, each of which had a similar direction. 1. 'Three Plays' (composed by Michio MIYAGI), 2. 'Knit Tsugumu' (composed by Makoto NOMURA, commissioned first performance), 3. 'Chukurokinuta' (composed by Michio MIYAGI), 4. 'Samura' (composed by Yuji TAKAHASHI), 5. 'Tsumugu' (composed by Aki MORI), performed by Ami YAMAMOTO (koto, 25 stringed koto).

Profile
[Ami YAMAMOTO]
From her childhood, she studied koto and sangen under Akiko KARIYA. As a domestic trainee for emerging artists of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, he studied under Soju NOSAKA, a koto player who was a pioneer of 25 stringed Soh, and since then, he has been active mainly as a 25 stringed Soh player. Released 25 stringed Soh solo albums' Tsumugu 'and' Kisashi '(participated in ALM/Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival). He holds a recital every year, and has been commissioned by Akira INOUE, Shoji SAWADA, Kumiko TAKAHASHI, Kazuyuki TAGUCHI, Aki MORI, Makoto NOMURA and others to present new works. He is involved in a wide range of non-genres such as contemporary music, improvisation, and pop music, and always keeping in mind the integration of koto and himself, he continues to convey the charm and explore the possibilities of the 25 stringed koto both in Japan and abroad.
