Business Overview

It is a concert to select famous shamisen pieces in contemporary Japanese music. In parallel with the live performance, a live YouTube broadcast and a five-day archive broadcast were conducted with the original sound as intact as possible. Program 1. Nagauta shamisen player: Toon Taishi Hozumi
Graduated from Sophia University, Tokyo University of the Arts, and graduated from the NHK Traditional Japanese Music Technician Training Association 47 class. In 2006, he won the Excellence Award of the Kumamoto National Japanese Music Competition in memory of Kengyo Hase. From 2010 to 2017, he served as a permanent director of NPO Nihon Ongaku Kyudan. Currently, he is a representative director of Wagakki Kenkyukai, Nagauta Toonkai Dojin, and a member of NPO Nihon Ongaku Dantai. As a member of the Japanese music group, she has performed in Brazil, England, the United States, and Indonesia. Since 2017, he has been performing as a nagauta shamisen player (Taishi TOON HOZUMI) at Kabuki performances at the Zenshinza Theater and the National Theater of Japan every year.
