Business Overview
Experimental film culture vol.4 in Japan transcended the boundaries of "dramatic films," "documentaries," "experimental images," and "images as art works," and continuously and intensively screened video works that are rarely introduced in Japan. The content of the program was not specific to a particular genre, but selected experimental works that could not fit within the existing framework. We sought to explore diversity and new formats, transcending genre boundaries and creating a middle ground where both creators and audiences could experiment.

Profile
[Nishizawa Satoshi]
Photographer and filmmaker. Born in 1983. Use a camera to record various things around you. Motifs chosen include things that are familiar to one's daily life but easily overlooked if one is not careful, such as the view from the window of the distribution warehouse where one worked, discussions with friends about pricing at a chain of izakaya bars, and relatively small monuments and exhibition facilities built by local governments. His major personal exhibitions include 'Criterion 98: Satoshi NISHIZAWA' (2022: Created in Room 9 of the Contemporary Art Gallery of the Mito Art Museum).
