Business Overview
A solo exhibition of Sotani Asae, a contemporary artist who creates works full of color and light, was held using the entire Spiral Garden. In the exhibition hall, the diverse activities of Sotani Tomoe, who has an exceptional sense of color, were introduced in general, including a series of works depicting weeds growing in a vacant lot in a city during the COVID-19 pandemic, a large oil painting depicting a sea of light, and a new installation that made use of the light-filled glass surface of the exhibition hall. In addition, this exhibition was a precious opportunity for the first time to open to the public a number of drawings, which were the source of Sotani's creative eye tea. Sotani presented a world in which ordinary scenery, such as weeds, washbasins filled with water, and light shining into rooms, was played with soft and vivid colors and light.

Profile
[Sotani Asae Exhibition Executive Committee]
This executive committee was established for the purpose of holding and managing the "Sotani Asae Exhibition" scheduled at Spiral Garden in Tokyo. After that, the articles of incorporation were proposed to the members and approved on October 15, 2020. The artist himself becomes the chairperson, and together with the members who are involved in the production of the exhibition, he works on the production of the work, the production of the exhibition and the publicity. Through Sotani's works, he will further develop Japanese contemporary art and disseminate it internationally.
