Business Overview

Various legal, labor, and financial issues in the performing arts, which have become more prominent during the COVID-19 pandemic, were examined from the perspective of contracts, and participants engaged in updating their knowledge and skills. Including topics such as the labor environment and the rights of culture and art, which must be avoided, a total of six online lectures were held, including "Labor Environment," "Rights," "Business Consignment," "Copyright," and "Tax and Accounting," which can be viewed as archives. In addition, three timely sub-themes were established: [Thinking about harassment]; [Thinking about the potential of performing arts]; and [Funding]. In addition to 6 lecturers, producers with various perspectives from the field took the stage as a total of 7 navigators who facilitated the event and 15 reporters who introduced case studies and raised issues. The content aimed to revitalize the performing arts industry by creating, maintaining, and expanding a sustainable creative environment while visualizing structural problems within the industry and working with many stakeholders to resolve and prevent them.

The Open Network of Performing Arts Producers (ON-PAM) is a nationwide and international membership network of people who work to connect artists, arts organizations and audiences. Promoters of the performing arts participate proactively, exchange and share information and ideas that are updated daily through their work, and form a place to develop activities. It also aims to contribute to the enhancement of the interests of the performing arts and society as a whole by defining and disseminating the social role of the contemporary performing arts and making proposals and suggestions for cultural policy.
