Business Overview

Original story: Ranpo EDOGAWA/Original plan, art, and performance: Tenko YOKOYAMA/Direction and lighting: Tetsujiro KOCHI/Composition and performance: Mitsuhide TATSUMI/Instructor of puppet performance: Miyako KUROTANI (genre: Gray)/Costume: Nozomi INOUE/Advertising art: Sachiko KIRA/Butler: Tanaka Tada Tada Ranpo EDOGAWA's original "Human Chair" was performed with puppets and physical performance and live music. Based on the concept of "The illusion of the man in the chair and the illusion of the woman in the chair combine to create a new illusion" he created a combination of masks, cloth, and bodies, with one-handed puppets and a single performer, to embody the mysterious and bizarre world of Edogawa Ranpo. The mysterious and sweet performance of various musical instruments, including the world's first electronic instrument, the theremin, which is used for sound effects in horror and sci-fi movies, was also a highlight of this performance.

Profile

[Yokoyama Tenko]
Born in Hiroshima Prefecture.
A graduate of the 48th class of the Bungakuza Theatre Institute, she joined the Rinkougun Theatre Company in 2009 and has been active as a freelance performer, artist and actor since 2014. She is also a member of the theatre group Furen Dance, the bands "Shirasaki Emi & 6 Prefectures Rolls-Roll!!" and "Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra", among others.
In recent years, she has studied under genre:Gray's Miyako Kurotani, and has performed and exhibited using dolls she made herself.
In 2019, he won the Producer Newcomer Award for "Waiting," based on a novel by Osamu Dazai.
