Profile

[The Sound of Hayashi - Breezes of Edo - Executive Committee]
Hayashi is music commonly played in traditional Japanese performing arts such as Noh and Kabuki. Hayashi, which is performed in folk performing arts all over Japan, is deeply related to traditional culture such as annual events. our association was established by a specified non-profit organization, Nihon Ongaku Hayashi Bunka Kenkyukai (Japan Music Hayashi Culture Study Group), which was established for the popularization and development of 'Hayashi.'. Through the sound of hayashi, the festival aims to evoke memories of Edo, where people lived together with nature, in present-day Tokyo.
