Profile

Dairakudakan
Presided by Mao Sekiji, founded in 1972. He named his style "Tenfuten-shiki" (meaning that being born into this world is a great talent), collected and constructed forgotten 'gestures and hand gestures,' and created many works. In 1982, they performed in France and America for the first time as a dance company, and gave a vivid impact and spread "Butoh" widely. Every year, many dancers, actors, artists, etc. from Japan and overseas participate in the dance experience camp, and exchanges beyond genres are actively held.
