Business Overview

This is the ninth independent performance of Ohayashi Live. Conducted twice a day and night. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, various performances have been forced to be canceled, but this event was held with the aim of creating a model for performances against infectious diseases, as well as a performance that could be a part of moving forward with performance implementation that is backward. Songs were selected so that both first-timers and repeaters could enjoy them, and explanations of the songs were provided before each performance. Part I: nagauta "Takasagotanzen," nagauta "Horai," nagauta "Atamayama" Part II: nagauta "Takasagotanzen," nagauta "Reimei," nagauta "Atamayama" Performing members: Takane UMEYA, Kiyomi KATATA, Satsuko KIDO, Kiyoho FUJISYA, Chiho FUJISYA, Chizuru FUKUHARA, Tetsuaki FUKUHARA, Haruyo HOSEI, Terumisuke MOCHIZUKI, Misasuke MOCHIZUKI (with some changes in performers) Supporting performers: Taro TOON YAMAGUCHI, Katsutoshi TOON TSUKAHARA, and others.

Profile

[Ohayashi Live]
This is a regular performance of Nagauta performed by "Ohayashi Live" consisting of professional performers and female musicians, formed mainly by graduates of Tokyo University of the Arts, the highest school of traditional Japanese music. There are classical performances of nagauta, shamisen, and hayashi, as well as programs of Japanese dance, flute solo music, and music created by live hayashi music. In order to communicate the appeal of hayashi, they focus on the stage, but also put effort into SNS and video distribution.
Established in September 2017.
They perform three times a year.
