Bakuro-yokoyama is a textile wholesale district located in the center of Edo that has been changing rapidly. A historical wholesale district. The center of creativity. Tourist base for tourists. a place where people live. Art Manager Lab will start “Art for Field building in Bakuroyokoyama ” based at MIDORI.so Bakuroyokoyama, a newly opened shared office that disseminates“ future work ” in a place with diverse faces. Field building is about connecting disparate players, building relationships, and nurturing that community. Through art in the town of Bakuro-yokoyama, he connects people and weaves new stories. Participating artists (ENDO Kaoru, KUDO Haruka, HONMA Mei) unearth the potential of the local history and people from their own perspectives, and accumulate the results of their encounters and research. In this exhibition, you can revisit contemporary and universal stories from different perspectives, such as the town and its history, family, livelihood, and gender, deepen your questions, and reconstruct the relationships that live in the town.
