Business Overview
2020 Project to transmit the charms and possibilities of Koharu Kisaragi to the present day through a new staging of his play "ANOTHER" (1980), a production participated in the Kisaragi Koharu Project. The theater was closed due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, and the originally planned performance was canceled. After discussions, a closed-door performance was held at a location in Tokyo, and the video shot there was distributed on the website. However, as they overcame such difficult production situations, each member of the group became more clearly aware of the theme of Koharu Kisaruki's play, which is "the overwhelming rupture of individual connections due to urban society," and through the web distribution, the "sense of distance of rupture" was conveyed to the audience more realistically, and the work confirmed the author's modernity.
