[Events to be experienced] Soh, shamisen, kotsuzumi (small hand drum), Nihon buyo [Number of experiences (per person, including presentations)] 7 [Main instructors] Yoshiko Yamakawa, Tomiyo Kobayashi, and other teachers from the Ota-ku Sankyoku Association (Soh) Jyuzu Kion 6000 ya, Goyu Kineya, and other teachers from the Ota-ku Japanese Music Federation (Shamisen) Tsurujuro Fukuhara, and other teachers from the Ota-ku Japanese Music Federation (kotsuzumi) Shizue Fujikage, and other teachers from the Ota-ku Japanese Dance Federation (Nihon buyo) [Features of the project] Participants from all ages, from children to adults, will experience traditional Japanese musical instruments and Japanese dance together, and will create opportunities to further develop their interest in Japanese culture. The goal is to deepen awareness of Japanese culture. [Environment for participants to continue hands-on experience (practice) of traditional performing arts] Because this project has asked a Japanese cultural organization in Ota City to provide guidance and cooperation, it is possible to introduce instructors who belong to a Japanese cultural organization to those who wish to continue learning the instruments they experienced and Japanese dance as a hobby after completing the experience course.

Purpose of foundation: To expand the circle of solidarity and cooperation among Ota-ku residents, promote culture and art in Ota-ku, and thereby contribute to the revitalization of the region and the development of an attractive cultural town
Activities of the organization: our association manages and operates Ota-ku People's Plaza, Ota-ku People's Hall Aprico, Ota-ku Culture Forest, Ota-ku Tatsuko Memorial Museum, and Ota-ku Kumagai Tsuneko Memorial Museum as the designated manager. It also organizes a variety of programs, including music, theater and dance, traditional performing arts, and art, to support the independent cultural activities of Ota residents and to provide many people with opportunities to appreciate and experience cultural arts.
