Business Overview

This is an exhibition project consisting of 4 new works from the series "2 D Painting" with the theme of painting space, which the artist group Yofu (Ryu Furusawa, Takayoshi Ohara, Tomoyuki Yanagawa) has been continuously working on since 2019. This project reconsiders the relationship between color and space, which has been repeatedly dealt with in the context of visual arts such as painting, and the viewer's agency in the act of seeing, and presents new possibilities as a perceptual experience.

Profile

Ohara Takayoshi
Born in 1986 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Film and Video in 2012.
With themes such as beauty and harmony in the visual arts, he creates images and installation works using modern techniques and interpretations. Since 2017, he has been active as a member of YOFF with Tomoyuki Yanagawa and Ryu Furusawa.
