[Outline of the project in the first year] (1) Creation phase 1: shelf performance of "Rintrik - or the heart shot through" and Lab Teater Ciputat production process of "Sotoba Komachi" documentary film production and screening, online public international symposium Contents: As the creation phase 1 of the three-year international co-production project between shelf and Lab Teater Ciputat, shelf adapted Indonesian author Danaruto's short story "Rintrik" as its theme, and Lab Teater Ciputat adapted Yukio Mishima's short play "Sotoba Komachi" as its theme. shelf performed the above work in Tokyo and Lab Teater Ciputat screened a documentary film of the production process at the venue. After the performance, an international symposium was streamed online. Date: October 6 - October 11 Venue: The 8th Gallery CLASKA (Meguro-ku) Symposium Venue: Yamabuki Factory (Shinjuku-ku) [Outline of the project in the second year] (1) Creation Phase 2: Production in residence, Joint Workshop @ Jakarta Content: As the creation phase 2, production will be held in Jakarta for about two weeks. The joint workshop/creation was held online from the end of the first year, on a bi-weekly basis, based on preparations. On the last day of the performance, a show of small works created through the process will be held as a work in progress performance. Date: September 1, 2021 - September 14 Venue: Makara Art Centre University of Indonesia (tentative) (2) Creation Phase 3: Lab Teater Ciputat version "Sotoba Komachi" performance and production stay @ TokyoContent: Lab Teater Ciputat version "Sotoba Komachi," an adaptation of Yukio Mishima's "Sotoba Komachi" created by Lab Teater Ciputat, will be performed in Tokyo for the purpose of publicizing the process of a long-term international co-production project. After the performance, rehearsals and creation took place at shelf and Lab Teater Ciputat. Date: March 9, 2022 - March 23 (tentative) Venue: TBD Rehearsal Venue: TBD Outline of the 3rd Year Project: (1) Creation Phase 3: shelf "Rintrik - or a shot heart" performance and production in residence, joint workshop @ Jakarta Description: shelf's "Rintrik - or a shot heart" will be performed in Jakarta in order to publicize the process of this long-term international co-production project. The play will be presented as an invited program of the Djakarta Teater Platform, a theatre festival organized by the Jakarta Arts Council. After the performance, they rehearse and create for the third international co-production. Date: July 1, 2022 to 14Venue: Taman Ismail Marzuki Teater Kecil (tentative) Rehearsal Venue: Makara Art Centre University of Indonesia (tentative) (2) International co-production performance "(title to be determined)" @ Jakarta Content: International co-production and co-direction of shelf and Lab Teater Ciputat completed, world premiere in Jakarta. While showing new ways of international joint productions in the Asian region, it opens up new possibilities of joint productions, and through holding symposiums and other events, it is open to share knowledge and experience gained through the process of joint productions widely with society. The content aims to not only intersect/cross the texts of the two artists, but also intersect/cross the similarities and differences between the two theater companies, the bodies of their actors, and the historical, cultural, and religious contexts of the two countries. Contemporary theater company represented by director Yasuto Yano. His representative works include "GHOSTS" (Ibsen) and "Hanjo/Yakuboshi" (Yukio MISHIMA). Invited to the International Ibsen Festival in 2014. In 2015, he was invited to the 1st Low Fat Art Fest in Bangkok. In 2018, she toured China with her representative work "Hedda Gabler". Participated in the Wuhan 403 New Youth Theater Festival, Beijing Fringe Festival, and Jinan Fountain ART Festival.
