Business Overview
Produced and presented a contemporary punk opera based on the work of Sarah Kane, one of the leading female playwrights of the 20 century (4:48 Mental Collapse), in collaboration with Japanese, British and Taiwanese artists (premiered in Tokyo in March 2020). The presentation language is English, and the creation process is conducted in both Japan and the UK, proposing a new creative scheme that transcends boundaries between fields and borders. The tour was scheduled to be held at the Coronet Theater "Festival of Contemporary Japanese Arts 2020" in London, but was postponed due to the spread of the novel coronavirus. They are preparing to resume domestic and international tours from 2022. Started directing activities in 2008. In 2010, she began performing Sarah Kane's work, and after a long period of planning and a 2 year production process, presented this work. They are not limited to contemporary theater, but actively engage in baby theater, citizen collaboration, and exchange with foreign artists and artists of other genres. In 2022, she is scheduled to direct a new opera "That town is a festival today" written by Yoko Tawada.
