Business Overview

This project, which produced the theater company's first work based on a manga, with musicians of the same generation, Osiripenpens, as the musicians, took advantage of the strength of the manga's original work, which has a concrete image, and tackled stage direction using images, which the theater company had never used before. By placing speech bubbles, tickers, backgrounds, and recollections on the stage and playing them on four large televisions that move freely by the actors' hands, the actors' bodies and images are expressed in a harmonious union, creating a new path for future creative work. Original story: "Galaxy Ginza" written by Kenichiro NAGAO (Shogakukan "Big Comics Special") Script and direction: Takashi Masuyama Music: Osiripen Pens Performers: Kanji Masuyama, Natsuki Tsunami, Kiki Kaka, Toru Kageyama, Mineyuki Masuyama U☆G, Yohiro Furuno, Urajinuno, Motoharu Jidochi, Takashi Masuyama (That's all, Gekidan Kodomo Ojin)

Profile

[Theater troupe Kodomo Ojin]
The troupe was founded in Osaka by its representative Takashi Masuyama and his younger brother Kanji. The world view created by Takashi Masuyama is brought to the stage by the bodies of actors from Kansai who are rich in individuality. It features a freestyle performance style that can be performed anywhere, not only in theaters, but also while destroying houses, ships and houses. He also takes on the challenge of making substantial plays, such as a full-scale Shakespeare performance by 100 performers at the Honda Theater. He has actively performed overseas, including four European tours and a performance in Taiwan. It is an energetic group that brings together individual strengths.
