Business Overview

As a question to the body living in today's Japan, this work was produced in order to share with the audience the present day Japan (here) and to reconsider constructive ideas through the performing arts by simultaneously depicting the body of the "past" consisting of the history, customs, culture and ideas of modern and contemporary Japan and the imagination of the "future" of how we should relate to our own bodies in the future. In addition, this work will be transmitted both domestically and internationally as a multi-layered stage work depicting contemporary Japan. Profile

【M-laboratory】
Established by Hiroyuki Miura and Takehiko Maruyama in 1999. As a company creation, he has released 30 works and performed many in Japan and abroad.
In 2010, he started working under the name of Works-M, and since then he has presented 10 works including stage works, mixed media and installations in 8 cities in Japan.
His recent works include Works-M Vol. 7 "Garden of Qualia" performed at the Yokohama Dance Collection, "The Missing Animal" which toured three cities in Japan, and his latest work "DAWNORDUSK."
