Business Overview

We will appeal the appeal of the flute, a traditional Japanese musical instrument, and clarify the diversity of tone and musicality of the flute. We will also pursue the possibility of future flute music, new Japanese music, and even new music through collaborative works with performers of other genres. Profile

Toru FUKUHARA
He became a disciple of the fourth generation master, Zaemon HOYAMA, and after graduating from the Department of Japanese Music of the Tokyo University of the Arts, he continued to play classical music as a fue player in performances of Nagauta and Sokyoku, stages of Nihon Buyo and Kabuki, broadcasts, and overseas performances as a fue player in traditional Japanese music. In 2001, he won the Arts Festival Grand Prize of the Agency for Cultural Affairs with his 1st concert "Toru no bue" and since then he has given 10 recitals, and since 2002 he has given 6 consecutive concerts of new works every other month. Served as a lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts, Seisen University, Ritsumeikan University, and NHK Cultural Center.
