Profile
【 Asia no Hone 】
A theatrical unit started in January 2017, led by Rieko Yamazaki (stage name: E-RUN) who has translated, directed, performed and produced performances in the Chinese speaking world. Aiming for deep Asian theater exchange, this is a platform for introducing and performing works. In August 2018, his new Taiwanese play "Cohabitation Time" received high acclaim at the world premiere at Shinjuku Theatre Moliere. In fiscal 2019, he developed the Asian Drama Exchange @2019 and produced 6 Asian plays in Japan. He performed three Japanese plays in Taiwan. A reading of his Japanese play was also performed in Malaysia in 2020. Although it has been four years since its establishment, it is slowly connecting Asia through theater.
