Business Overview

With the cooperation of plazas, parks, large stores, etc. in the city, it is an event to make the whole town (whole area) overflowing with music and to give the whole town a lively atmosphere by performing live all at once in stores, etc., and to create it together with performers and audiences. Over the 2 days, 1200 musicians and dancers from 280 groups selected through public applications and screening will perform live at 30 venues in Tachikawa City. In addition, during the week prior to the exhibition, "Ittai Week" will be held at facilities for the elderly and welfare facilities, and "U.S. Air Force Pacific Band Pacific Showcase Concert" will be held at Tamashin RISURU Hall (Tachikawa City Civic Hall). This event is run purely by citizens, and most of the executive committee members, including the chairperson, are volunteers, and it is also characterized by the fact that the artists themselves are on stage. Volunteers from elementary school students to people in their 70s participate in the event. More than 1200 people from more than 280 groups participated in the event, with 60,000 visitors.

【 Tachikawa Ittai Ongaku Matsuri Executive Committee 】
It was established in 2011 to manage the Tachikawa Ittai Ongaku Matsuri with the aim of encouraging everyone to enjoy music casually and become attached to Tachikawa, and to give life to the town. The festival is composed of individuals, musicians, music lovers, shop owners, and youth groups from within and outside Tachikawa City, and most of the members, including the executive committee chairperson, are citizen volunteers and artists who perform on stage themselves. The secretariat shall be established in the Tachikawa City Regional Culture Promotion Foundation.
