The event held in the Philippines in 2020 was co-curated by Akane Nakamura (Japan), Helly Minarti (Indonesia), and Green Papaya Art Project (Philippines) and attracted approximately 30 artists from 13 cities in 6 Asian countries. In addition to screenings of video works, theatrical performances to convey the actual situation of the Philippines, and workshops to rethink the history of the Philippines using theatrical methods, the symposium shared the achievements of PETA (Philippine Educational Theatre Association) and social performing arts activities in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and other practices in Asia.
