Business Overview
"Unknown Tokyo" is performed based on research and interviews with people born and raised in Tokyo. Tokyo is often talked about with stereotypical images, but this film expresses the moment-to-moment perspectives of individuals who live in this huge city as their home. Not only the performers, but also the music, images, lights, and the space on the 8th floor of a hotel in Tokyo will be fully utilized to experience the last "part of Tokyo" in the 2010s. A theater company formed in Tokyo in 2016. Based on the question, "What is a performance?," he presents works that expand the framework of performing arts by writing and directing with a musical background. Its director, Nukata Taishi, has won the Grand Prize at the 16 AAF Drama Awards and the Best Director Award at the Komaba Agora Director Competition in 2018.
