Business Overview
This is the first solo performance of Bushman, a dance company established in May 2017 by Ikumi Kurosu, who has worked independently as a choreographer and dancer. I want to see you dance! In recent years, he has won awards in competitions and been invited overseas, such as the Rookie of the Year Award in the Rookie Series and the Jury Award in the Yokohama Dance Collection. In this performance, he delved further into the world of Ikumi Kurosu, who is not only powerful but also aware of the details of his body and expresses them delicately. This time, a piece using bamboo lanterns, a traditional Japanese craft, will be performed. The challenge was not only to use it as a stage art, but also to produce all the spaces in the hall where it is performed as a company performance.
