Business Overview

Theater Commons is a project to create "common land" in society by utilizing the "common knowledge" of theater. By "using theater" in daily life and urban space, in other words, utilizing theatrical ideas, it aims to present the form of "the coming theater/theater". Through theatrical imagination, different things and multiple times intermingle, and together with the artist, they create an experience that brings dialogues and discoveries that disintegrate everyday life. In this year's event, a number of events were held, including theatrical performances by Mark Te/Five Arts Center (Malaysia) and Kamome Machine, film screenings by Bushra Hariri (Morocco/Germany) and Hikaru Fujii, lecture performances by Julian Fournet/Amicard de Productions (France), Yasumasa Morimura and Shu Jawei (Taiwan), workshops by Akiro Koizumi, workshops for children by theater troupe Artemis (Netherlands), assemblies and symposiums.
