Business Overview
A performance of gagaku in the California area in an authentic style including kangen, utamono and bugaku. It is held by talented musicians from all over the country, led by the former chief musician of the Music Department of the Imperial Household Agency. The 1400 year history of gagaku, including its history, musical instruments, methods of performance, and forms of performance, will introduce the Japanese sense of beauty and values. - Performance of major music pieces of Kangen. Performances of "Taijiki-shironotori," "Aikaiso," "Keidakuraku," and "Nukigashira," "Kosho-shironechoshi," which is played by two Sho instruments, and "Kagura-onotori," "Chitose," and "Sokoma" from "Kagurauta," which is said to be a secret piece in gagaku. - In the beginning of "Hu Drinking," he aims to perform in a new style by separating into two groups. Bugaku (the art of court dance) "Shirahama" which is a representative work of Komagaku (Korean traditional music), Sho (Japanese flute) and Fue (Japanese flute) are withdrawn (Rinyu-ranjo).

【 Gagaku California Performance Executive Committee 】
The four former chief musicians of the Music Department of the Imperial Household Agency are still active after retiring from the Imperial Household Agency, introducing high artistic quality, secret pieces that are not performed in general, and outstanding Japanese culture overseas. They try to perform in a style different from the conventional composition without breaking the tradition of gagaku.
In 2017, at the European performances of Gagaku held in 4 countries in Europe with 7 members, the performance with a new style that focused on the technique of playing Omelibuki, although the number of members was small, was appreciated for its high artistic quality. Especially, in the preface of "Ko Shukaku," the puffing divided into two groups has the potential to become a new style. In order to expand it further and add Uchimono and Dance to the performance, excellent performers were recruited beyond the existing Gagaku groups and a group was organized.
