Profile

A theater group based in Tokyo that has performed overseas since 2007.

Look at the boundary between reality and story, and reconsider where they are by going back and forth. The creation of stories, such as life and death, sensation and language, group society, and family, starts with the object of interest each time, and goes further and accesses universal "questions".

In recent years, he has attracted attention not only in Japan but also in Asian countries with his unique direction combining characters, photos, colors, lights, shadows and other elements projected on the stage with actors and strong scripts that shake the moral sense of the audience. He has also performed and co-produced in Malaysia, Thailand, India, China, Singapore and New York.

She won the Bangkok Theatre Festival 2014 Best Screenplay and Best Film awards for Little Girl X.
He was nominated as a finalist for the 59 Kishida Kunio Drama Award for "I'm not born, so I don't know yet.".
Nominated as a finalist for the 62 Kishida Kunio Drama Award for The Night and Friends.
