Business Overview
"Ftarri Festival 2019" invited many improvisers active in Japan and abroad, and created an opportunity to experience intensively various improvisations that form the current improvisation music scene. With a special focus on the approach to compositions, the two days at the Sonorium were organized around performances of compositions by improvisers and contemporary musicians. The two days at BUoY, on the other hand, were structured to offer a wide range of different styles of improvisation. During the four days at the small space Ftarri, there were small performances by foreign musicians. The main performers are Michael Thieke, Kai Fagaschinski, Margareth Kammerer, Biliana Voutchkova, Magnus Granberg, Dante Boon, Cristián Alvear, Klaus Lang, Samuel Dunscombe, Johnny Chang, Carl Stone, Ryoko Akama, Goko Inoue, Yoshihide Otomo, Sachiko M, Junji Hirose, and Kazuo Imai.

Profile
【Ftarri】
In April 2008, she hosted the Ftarri Festival at Nishi-Azabu Super Deluxe in Tokyo. In September 2010, she co-hosted the Ftarri Doubtmusic Festival at Super Deluxe with Doubtmusic label. In August 2012, he hosted Ftarri Opening 2 Days in Suidobashi, Tokyo to celebrate the opening of the CD shop and space Ftarri. Hosted the Ftarri Festival at Super Deluxe in November 2015.
