Business Overview

The film is based on the story of a world where words have been lost due to postwar occupation, and where people attempt to restore history from the letters on T-shirts that remain on the streets. To create this work, PUGMENT conducted research on Yoyogi-Harajuku in Tokyo and street fashion in a broad sense. Soon after World War II, Yoyogi became the residence of GHQ, became the Olympic Village when the Tokyo Olympics were held in 1964, and later became Yoyogi Park, Yoyogi National Stadium, and NHK Broadcasting Station. Against this background, neighboring Harajuku has developed into a haven for foreign culture and street fashion. This collection is created by reinterpreting this historical background. In the project space "People," they welcomed 1000 Rin Komatsu for music and Koji Oyamada for styling and presented an installation composed of video works and clothes.
