Business Overview

Performances of Seki Kaori's work "Oko" at Operaestate Festival Veneto in Bassano del Grappa, Veneto, Italy, and the dance festival Tanz im August in Berlin, Germany. After its first performance in Tokyo in 2016, this work was selected for the 1st East Asian Dance Platform "HOT POT" (Hong Kong) in 2017, and was invited to both festivals in Europe. Profile

[Kaori Seki]
Started creative activities at the age of 18. He has been producing works since 2003, and in 13, he established Sekikaori PUNCTUMUN. He is interested in the ecology and sensory functions of humans, animals and plants, and has performed works in Japan and overseas that incorporate the sense of smell into their elements. In 12, he won the French Embassy in Japan Award for Young Choreographers of Yokohama Dance Collection for co-writing with Teita Iwabuchi, Toyota Choreography Award 2012 Choreographer of the Next Generation Award in the same year, Elsur Foundation Rookie of the Year Award in 13, and JaDaFo Award 2016 in 17. He was a junior fellow of the Saison Cultural Foundation from 14 to 17.

Established in 2013. It is a coined word from the Latin punctum(Small dots, dots, punctures) and the French un, meaning a collection of innumerable small dots in one.
