(1) The 43 th Komae Citizens' Festival Komae Citizens' Festival is the largest event in Komae City. Parades and portable shrines are held, and various events are held at each venue for citizens to enjoy, such as stalls and large games. (2) Komae Culture Festival 2019~ The World Where Music Works ~ The Komae Culture Festival is the symbol concert of "Komae City of Music" where artists from Komae City and beyond perform in a wide range of genres from classical music to Japanese music. Taking the opportunity of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, this year's "Komae Culture Festival" will focus on the world, and under the title of "The World Where Music Works," it will feature music from all over the world that is heard in various scenes, and will provide a new appreciation of the appeal of traditional music from Japan, the host country.
