Business Overview
This work was performed as part of the exhibition "Radicalism in the Wilderness: Japanese Contemporary Artists in the Global 60's" sponsored by the Japan Society. The theme of the film is "the poor minds of the clogged metropolises" in both Tokyo and New York, which share similarities, and through Macbeth, it examines the repeated appearances of modern rulers. There are three witches there. And Macbeth is in the heart of every greedy person. When Macbeth dies and a new champion is born, the witch will not stop whispering prophecies to another Macbeth. All the dead Macbeth wait for a new one in the ring. And we have believed in the myth of safety, which is nothing more than prophecy. Burnham Forest is already moving. What will the witch whisper to us, who have pretended not to notice? And what will we whisper to the next Macbeth? Writer/Director: Murai O Starring: Takasaki Takuro, G.K.
