Business Overview
"Troll Forest" is an international outdoor art exhibition that started in 2002 at Tokyo Metropolitan Zenpukuji Park in Suginami Ward. Since 2013, they have expanded the area to the JR Nishi-Ogikubo area, and are developing various art projects such as performances at renovated cafes and natural food restaurants, and projects to discover the charm of the town. The number of participating artists has expanded to more than 60 this year, the 18 year anniversary of the event. For three weeks in November, it is an opportunity to experience familiar art. [Troll Forest Executive Committee]
The Troll Forest Executive Committee is an organization composed of participating artists, local galleries, activity groups, elementary schools, and their support organizations. Activities are aimed at providing a venue for the presentation of contemporary art works, promoting understanding of art among local residents, fostering children's and young people's interest in art and their desire to express themselves, creating a new town network through contemporary art, and revitalizing the town through projects.
