Business Overview
This year marks the 44th anniversary of the Sumida Festival, which is planned and operated by residents and the local government in cooperation to raise awareness of "Hometown Sumida" and promote local development. There are mainly various events such as a stage (Character show, karaoke competition, Japanese dance, Japanese drum, hula dance, Goodwill Ambassador certification ceremony, Shitamachi Yose, etc.), an exhibition of products from the interchange city, a booth, and a PR corner. This year marks the 49th year of the Children's Festival, which aims to promote the safety and health of children and to encourage them to grow up cheerfully and vigorously, and to expand their circle of friendship and solidarity. There is a children's play corner (Sumida City General Gymnasium) where you can experience various handmade activities, a Wanpaku Square (Sumida City Kinshi Park Baseball Stadium) where you can exercise your body outdoors, and a children's festival parade.
