Business Overview

Art Trace Gallery, an exhibition space jointly run by artists in Sumida Ward, has sent seven of its members to Wroclaw, Poland, to hold a group exhibition of their drawings at a gallery in the art university there. Wroclaw has been hosting a drawing art festival for 30 years, and in addition to lively discussions on drawing with Polish participants who teach at the local art university, close exchanges were held with local viewers and students through workshops.

Art Trace Gallery was started in August 2004 in Tokyo and Ryogoku as a joint ownership by volunteer artists with the aim of bringing to the surface aspects of art that are left out of the situation formed by existing galleries and exhibition spaces.
