He was invited to perform 3 performances at the MONA FOMA 2019 International Music Festival in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia as an artist of the Japanese Residency Program, and gave a solo concert at the Melbourne Recital Centre. At MONA FOMA 2019, he performed works of Bach, Reich and Akira Miyoshi at the Royal Albert Hall on January 18. On 19th, they performed "Knico Plays Reich" at the outdoor traverser stage. The Australian premiere of the new work "Drumming" was held at the Annex Theater on the 20th. After that, he moved to Melbourne and performed Reich's Drumming again at the Melbourne Recital Centre on the 23rd.
