Business Overview
Baku Yumemakura, author of the novel "Onmyoji," wrote the script for his friend Isao Matsushita, who added music to it, and Russian director Leonid Anisimov handled the entire production. World-renowned calligrapher Momomitsu Kashiwagi creates scenes from the play on a folding screen in a collaboration of literature, music, theater and calligraphy. They were invited to the "20 Japan's Heart International Music Festival" organized by the Moscow State Conservatory as a commemorative event of the "Japan Year in Russia" decided by the Japanese and Russian governments, and performed in Moscow. Profile
Tokyo Novy Repertory Theater
It was established in 2004 by actors and actresses gathered under the director Leonid Anisimov with the goal of creating a "Real theater that deeply heals the hearts of today's wounded people and feeds their souls". Through the Stanislavsky system of actor training and the repertoire system, which is rare in Japan, he has continued to produce highly sensitive and high-quality works.
[Kashiwagi Hakuko]
Born in Oita Prefecture. Started calligraphy at the age of five. She won prizes in many calligraphy exhibitions, including the Mainichi Women's Exhibition (Grand Prix in 1988). There are many overseas performances in which he writes calligraphy with musicians. On the other hand, his works were dedicated to Ise-jingu Shrine, Meiji-jingu Shrine, Yasukuni-jinja Shrine, etc., and he drew attention for writing "Samawah Camp," a signboard of the Iraqi Self-Defense Forces.
