Profile

[Baobab]
Director: Wataru Kitao choreographed, composed and directed all the works.
The dance is characterized by an overwhelming group dance with a choreography that has an indigenous and rhythmic dynamic feel. Each work creates a distinct world view while carefully working with the dancers and actors recruited each time. Observing the borderless relationship between performance and audience and the age of the contemporary dance world, the contemporary dance festival "DANCE×Scrum!!!" which gathers young artists has been held every other year since March 2016.
