Business Overview
The purpose of this activity is to create a new video installation titled "Talking Lights" by Daigo Yamashiro, an artist and video director, and to hold a "debriefing session" to verify and share the knowledge generated in the creation of the work. In recent years, Yamashiro has sponsored the Tokyo Visual Arts Laboratory, which has been working to discover and expand new ways of expressing visual media. "VIDERE DECK" (2013), the third new work to be produced in this activity, has been selected as a work recommended by the Jury Committee in the art section of the 18 th Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival and has received a high reputation. This activity aims at new horizons of visual and artistic expression using new methods.

Profile
Yamashiro Grand Captain
Born in 1983. Graduated from IAMAS. He withdrew from the doctoral course of the Graduate School of Video, Tokyo University of the Arts. The concept of time in images is applied to spaces and projects, and "time" that can only be experienced in the place is developed as a work. He is a member of "Nadegata Instant Party" (Nakazaki Toru, Yamashiro Taisho, Noda Tomoko). The time based media installation work "VIDERE DECK" was selected as a recommended work of the 18 th Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival Art Division Jury Committee.
