Business Overview
This is the fourth activity to open up new possibilities of dance expression by utilizing different physical characteristics. This time, the works of Didier Terron (France), an experienced contemporary dance choreographer from overseas who has won high acclaim at the Setouchi International Art Festival and the Aichi Triennale, and Takuro Suzuki, a Japanese choreographer who has created dramatic dance works, will be performed simultaneously. It was established in May 1990 to support people with disabilities in expressing themselves through art and to explore new possibilities for art. Since then, she has been developing activities to ask questions about the new way society should be through the participation of not only people with disabilities, but also people of all ages, genders and ethnicities in art activities. In June 2014, he established Hibiki Kyo, an integrated dance company to develop new forms of dance expression that make use of diverse physical characteristics, in addition to participation-type activities and local art project-type businesses. It is attracting attention as an effort to integrate society and art.
