Profile
【 Mikuniya Naihara Project 】
A solo project started in 2005 by dancer and choreographer Mikuni Yanaihara with the aim of producing a "theatrical work". On the stage, which is known for its overwhelming amount of information and movement, the dramatically-deformed characters spin their words and bodies at high speed as if dancing, creating a driving charm. 2005: His first performance, "3 Years, Class 2," was released as the opening performance of Kichijoji Theater. His 5th play "Forward! Timon" won the 56 Kishida Kunio Drama Prize in 2012. In recent years, it has also attracted much attention from Asia.
