Business Overview
This is the first overseas performance of a theatrical work by Hosui AMEYA. FFT Düsseldorf held the FFT Nippon Performance Night and performed "Japanorama: New Vision of JAPAN from 1970" as a related performance at Pompidou Center Metz. "Classroom" and Ameya's solo performance "Gun" were performed at Pompidou Center Metz. Profile
Born in 1961. In charge of sound staff at the Situation Theater, he formed the Tokyo Granguinol in 1984 and became independent as a director. After the 1990s, he shifted his focus to contemporary art. He works as a writer focusing on the primordial interest in life, without defining his genre as theater or art. In 2007, he revived his theatrical activities in earnest. In 2013, he released Blue Sheet, which won the 58 Kishida Kunio Drama Prize. He has also performed in the works of Takahiro Fujita (Mam and Gypsy) and Yasunori Seonishi, collaborated with musicians spanning generations such as Yoshihide Otomo, Fuyuki Yamakawa, Tabito Nanao, Tennis Courts, MARK, and Ichiko Aoba, and collaborated with art critic Kinu Sawaragino in a unit called Gran Guignoll Mirai.
