Business Overview
This concert was planned for the purpose of passing on and revitalizing the tradition of Kiyomoto-bushi, and focused on the simple Joruri of Kiyomoto-bushi, which is performed as the music (local) that supports Kabuki and Japanese dance. There were three pieces to be played: two classical pieces typical of Kiyomoto and one contemporary piece complemented by Eizaburo KIYOMOTO. There are male and female successors to Kiyomoto-bushi, and both of them have been active and have supported the tradition of Kiyomoto-bushi, so I think I was able to present a new possibility of Kiyomoto-bushi by introducing the narration of a woman in the third piece and expecting that this would bring about a change in the composition and an enhancement of the overall composition. [Program] 1. Ume no Haru (It is said to have been performed for the first time in 1827, and it is a representative song of Goshugimono singing the spring scene of Sumida River.) 2. Ukare Bozu (Tokiwazu Kyoku first performed at the Edo Ichimura-za Theater in 1811 was transferred to Kiyomoto by Kikugoro ONOE VI and first performed at the Kabuki-za Theater in 1929. Kiyomoto-bushi's unique expression of gannin bozu is popular.) 3. Haruyoi Fukiyose Banashi (It was complemented by Eizaburo KIYOMOTO. The late Koisaburo NISHIKAWA choreographed Kiyomoto's feelings for a popular rakugo performer as a geisha. This time, men and women will perform in Kiyomoto.)
