Business Overview
"PLUTO" (Shogakukan) is a masterpiece produced under the supervision of Tezuka Makoto by Naoki Urasawa, who continues to produce hit works at the forefront of manga, and story co-creator Naoshi Nagasaki, who longed for a remake of Osamu Tezuka's "Astro Boy: The Biggest Robot on Earth." It is still popular all over the world. In 2015, director and choreographer Sidi Larbi Sherkawi adapted the manga PLUTO for the first time as a theatrical production, Pluto. In 2018, the 90 year anniversary of Osamu Tezuka's birth, in Shibuya, Tokyo, this work will be re-released to the world, using a variety of expression methods that go beyond the bounds of theater, including dance, music, images, and puppets. Tokyu Bunka Mura Co., Ltd. was established in November 1888 through a joint investment by Tokyu Department Store Co., Ltd. and Tokyu Corporation to operate the Bunkamura cultural complex. Orchad Hall, Theatre Cocoon, The Museum, Le. Grand opening on September 3, 1889 as a cultural complex with 5 halls of Cinema 1 and 2 and related facilities. Since then, it has been actively engaged in cultural activities in accordance with its objectives in the fields of music, theater, art and video. In July 2012, Tokyu Theater Orb also began operating.
