After leaving the group, he was taught by Tatsumi HIJIKATA, the founder of the dark dance, at Asbesto-kan. After that, he found flamenco and studied under Yuko SATO. In 1992, he went to the West and studied for about 2 and a half years. After returning to Japan, he founded Estudo Breña in Nakano, Tokyo in 1999. His representative work is "Espontanea: Flamenco, Spontaneous" in which a distinguished gypsy from Jerez de la Frontera is invited to perform improvisational flamenco on the stage.
