Profile

【 Jun Kawasaki Music Poetry and Drama Research Institute 】
Music poetry and drama as a new possibility of performing art is created by combining elements such as song, body and voice. In 2015, the Theater X Music, Poetry and Dramatic Institute performed 2 works, "The Forsaken Stars" and "The End Always Ends Before It Ends" (100 year anniversary of Tadeusz Kantor's birth/Theater X). In 2016, he collaborated with Berlin violinist Ayumi Paul, performed in Armenia and Russia, and held workshops. Led by director and composer Kawasaki, performers from various fields such as dancers, voice performers, singers, and musicians gather to explore the possibilities of expression through repeated dialogues in the study group, and explore the path to Eurasian opera through collaborations around the world.
