Business Overview

Writer and Director: Toru Sasaki (Requesting Room), Goda Danchi (Efforts Club) Sasaki, who is from Osaka and lives in Tokyo, and Goda, who lives in Kyoto, discuss the theme of "decoration" and create and perform a play. Both men and women "embellish" themselves by devising makeup and fashion, or by acquiring titles and skills, in order to show themselves well and to hide their flaws. While 'kazari' makes a difference from others, it can also be expressed in a form different from the original self. In this project, we will consider the cultural differences between the Kansai and Kanto regions, as well as the "vanity" in society. He also presented the possibility of creating plays by working on rengaku, which is similar to a piano duet, using Skype.
