Business Overview

This is a solo exhibition of new works in the "Park City" series, which has been held by photographer Keiko Sasaoka since 2001, and her first exhibition in Tokyo in 3 years. I was born and raised in Hiroshima, and since I left the city, I have an interest in the historical city of Hiroshima. He has also published photo collections, held photo exhibitions in Japan and abroad, and collaborated with other genres such as theater and video to develop and update this work. This exhibition is an attempt to deepen the multilayered thinking of Hiroshima by cutting off the "Peace City Hiroshima" from being a mere formality through photographic works that capture the present of Hiroshima, connecting it to the present globalism that is rapidly changing after the Great East Japan Earthquake. Also, by holding the exhibition in Tokyo, the aim is to influence the critical consciousness of viewers in Japan and abroad.
